Welcome to our 39th anniversary season!

 

     Over these many years, the Winona Oratorio Chorus has culturally enriched the greater Winona community with high quality choral performances.  We are pleased to be a long term, integral contributor to the ever-expanding Winona performing arts environment.  

 

     As you might imagine, we have significant costs: to acquire music (for singers, musicians and conductor), to pay accompanists and instrumentalists, and for performance rights fees.  Liability insurance, facilities fees, printing, mailings and advertisements are also a part of each concert's expenses.  It costs typically $15,000.00 to $20,000 to produce our two concerts each season.  

     Membership dues (yes, our singers pay dues to be chorus members), grants and ticket sales generate only some of the income we need to cover our costs.  We must rely on generous contributions from individuals, service organizations and businesses to make up thre difference.  

     Because WOC is an IRS 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization, the amount of your contribution is tax deductible to the extent of IRS regulations.  Your contribution will help keep great choral music alive in Winona, and you gift will be greatly appreciated and acknowledged in our program booklets.
